About this venue
The birthplace of fly fishing in Botswana, established in the early 1980s by PJ Bestelink who pioneered tigerfish fly fishing. Located on a private island in the permanent waters of the upper Okavango Delta Panhandle. World-class tigerfish on fly, plus African pike, nembwe, and various bream species. The legendary barbel run in September-October attracts specialist fly fishers from around the world.
