Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Flyloops mobile application and related services ("Service"), operated by Pixeljet ("we", "our", or "us"). By downloading or using Flyloops, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the Flyloops app, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Use of the Service

Flyloops grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the app for your own recreational fishing logging and related activities. You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or copy any part of the app
• Upload content that is offensive, misleading, or infringes any third-party rights
• Use automated tools to access or scrape the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service

3. Account Registration

You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Please notify us immediately at flyloops@pixeljet.co if you suspect unauthorised access.

4. Subscriptions & Payments

• Flyloops Pro is billed monthly at $4.99 via Apple In-App Purchase (iOS) or Google Play (Android).
• Your subscription automatically renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• Renewal charges are applied to your Apple ID or Google account within 24 hours of the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your device's Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions (iOS) or Google Play Store → Subscriptions (Android).
• No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods, except where required by applicable law.
• Prices may change with reasonable advance notice. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance.

Payments are processed by Apple (iOS) or Google Play (Android). We do not store your payment card details. For billing disputes, please contact Apple Support or Google Play Support.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of any catch records, photos, notes, and other content you upload to Flyloops ("User Content"). By uploading content, you grant us a limited licence to store, display, and process it solely to provide the Service to you.

To power features such as venue catch trends, seasonal pattern insights, and fly effectiveness data, we analyse anonymised and aggregated catch data across the Flyloops community. This analysis never identifies you personally — only collective trends are surfaced. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

6. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time from within the app. You can also request deletion by emailing flyloops@pixeljet.co from your registered email address with the subject line "Delete my Flyloops account".

Upon deletion, your account, catch records, photos, and personal data will be permanently removed within 30 days. Active subscriptions should be cancelled via your Apple ID or Google Play settings prior to account deletion to avoid further charges.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, design, trademarks, and software comprising the Flyloops app and website are owned by Pixeljet or its licensors. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our name, logo, or branding without prior written consent.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

Flyloops is a recreational logging tool. We do not guarantee the accuracy of fishing insights, venue data, or weather information provided within the app.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Pixeljet shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms. You may also terminate your account at any time as described in Section 6 above.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting an update in the app or on our website. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
