Fishing Camp on Impalila Island in the Caprivi where the Chobe and Zambezi Rivers meet. Impalila is usually accessed from Kasane in Botswana, on the other bank of the Chobe River.
From the air it is an amazing mosaic of waterways, floodplains and bush, while on the ground, exceptional birdlife, game viewing and assorted vegetation abound. The surrounding waters provide for outstanding fishing opportunities.
Many activities may be enjoyed such as game viewing along the Chobe River with possible sightings of elephant, hippo, buffalo and lion. Fly-fishing and conventional fishing on the Zambezi or Chobe Rivers offer tigerfish, bream and many other species. Set off on a day trip to the nearby Victoria Falls or Chobe National Park.
